Ineng participated at the SAFREECON 2017, with an address by Garreth Bloor. He presented a draft framework for evaluating public policy proposals on entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on local government.
Spokesperson Unathi Kwaza emphasized Ineng’s work at the end of the presentation: ensuring entrepreneurs and SMME owners are in a better position to comment on legislation proposed in their name.
The conference, supported by African Students for Liberty, took place in the University of Cape Town precinct at Cape Media. The day-long event touched on numerous issues pertaining to Ineng’s focus on creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurs.
Ineng participated in sessions on the day with long-time Ineng friend Temba Nolutshungu, Russell Lamberti of ETM Macro Advisors, SAFREECON organiser Nicholas Babaya and the Soviet Union expert, Professor Yuri Maltsev.
